Kaiyi Wong
Kaiyi is an artist, designer, and architect, and the founder of his own studio, UNREALITY.
His creative journey includes working with renowned artist Red Hong Yi and interning with TR Yeang and Hamzah. His remarkable reinterpretation of mahjong sets through graphic storytelling left a lasting impression – making him both a featured speaker and participant in Synthesis Competition.
"MyJong" is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional mahjong game, designed to foster inclusivity and cultural appreciation. Created by artists and designers Kaiyi Wong (Unrealitykai) and Adrean Lean, MyJong reimagines the game with a modern aesthetic while preserving its deep-rooted heritage. Through thoughtful design, it embraces diverse cultural influences, making the game accessible and engaging for a wider audience. Wong and Lean’s approach bridges tradition and innovation, transforming mahjong into a platform for dialogue that celebrates multicultural identity and encourages meaningful connections across generations and backgrounds.
